We source from Michigan farms that are conscious of their carbon footprint, have ethical practices, and prioritize animal welfare and humane care for their livestock, treating them as beloved pets. All are also no-kill farms.
Green Packaging
We strive to eliminate plastic and fossil fuel materials from our products and their packaging, and take the extra steps so our products and packaging can be compostable, and if not, repurposable.
Our Start
Troy was five years old in 2006 when he started his business. His continued focus, drive, and hard work turned his ambitions into a family business now called Chickapea Farms. These ambitions have laid a green path he will walk well into his future.
