We are excited to see more people are turning to natural ways for skin rejuvenation. As they do,
they have been seeking out our LanoSkin, 100% lanolin. This is heartwarming, but not surprising.
LanoSkin Lanolin, produced by Merino sheep, is a protective "waxy/oily" barrier on their wool fleece that keeps it waterproof and deodorized. Lanolin is actually an advanced natural emollient that closely resembles sebum produced by human oil glands. It is easily absorbed by the skin, providing an unparalleled level of hydration and maintaining optimal skin moisture levels. It protects the epidermis, restoring elasticity and softness leaving skin feeling supple and revitalized; from chapped lids to severe eczema.

From head to toe, ears to hooves, LanoSkin is a proven, fast, and natural, single‑ingredient relief from dry, chapped, chafed, cracked, irritated, wind‑burned, or sun‑scorched skin, and so much more. LanoSkin offers lasting skin rejuvenation and protection.
After twenty years of working with the volume of Merino wool we have, our own family’s generational use of lanolin, and a 2020 request from a Southeast Michigan COVID‑floor hospital doctor, asking us to send him and his peers lanolin for their over‑washed hands, LanoSkin has become a solid and trusted choice for many. And, now with the extent of requests from farmers, we are now putting it in bucket size to accommodate their farming needs.
Gentle enough for a baby’s skin, tough enough for farm hands, bull scruff, and tractor sprockets.
Derived from sheep’s wool, lanolin has been used for thousands of years to deliver deep hydration and skin protection. Found in pockets, kitchen drawers, medicine cabinets, and barns across the globe, generations have used it as a trusted go‑to emollient for skin relief for people and animals, from chapped lips to tender udders, and for general‑purpose needs from leather conditioning to mechanical lubrication.
LanoSkin is an advanced emollient that absorbs into the skin while creating a breathable and protective moisture barrier. Studies show lanolin can help reduce skin roughness by 40% in just one hour, with emollient and smoothing effects that last for more than eight hours.

The five essential oils we use for our lanolin infusions have long been customer favorites and were selected for their premium quality, consistency, and purity. Each is steam-distilled and 100% plant-derived, offering additional skin-supporting benefits for LanoSkin.

I started using LanoSkin on my dog’s paws and my goat’s dry hooves, and the difference is amazing. The chafed spots healed fast, and the skin looks healthier. It’s gentle but tough, and I feel good putting it on my animals because it’s all‑natural lanolin. Sammy J.

I’ve worked fields and barns for 20 years and nothing has helped my hands like LanoSkin. My skin was cracked, rough, and always bleeding. After a week of using LanoSkin at night, my hands are softer, healed, and protected. I keep a jar in my truck and in the house now. Chad A.

Living in Florida, I’m lucky to spend a lot of time outside: beach, boat, and my favorite, yard work and gardening. My skin gets sun‑kissed and rough, but LanoSkin keeps it soft, smooth, and supple. It doesn’t feel greasy, and it actually helps my skin feel better quickly, not just cover up the dryness. Joann T.

I use LanoSkin on everything: my hands after milking, my kids’ scraped knees, my husband’s tractor‑burned neck, and our horses’ dry muzzles. It’s thick enough to protect but not sticky, and it’s the only thing that keeps our skin from cracking open in Michigan winters. I swear by this product. Cindy C.

We believe in local supporting local. We buy local. We sell local. If not harvested from our own land, then we scrutinize sources in the sequence of: our home area within Michigan, the rest of Michigan, the Midwest.

In making our products, there is no out-sourcing or mass-production machinery; just hands on, strong backbones and a lot of elbow grease to create durable, high quality, green products and packaging.

We source from Michigan farms that are conscious of their carbon footprint, have ethical practices, and prioritize animal welfare and humane care for their livestock, treating them as beloved pets. All are also no-kill farms.

We strive to eliminate plastic and fossil fuel materials from our products and their packaging, and take the extra steps so our products and packaging can be compostable, and if not, repurposable.

Love a Bee, Hug a Tree, True to Our Craft, Come and See!

We want to provide you with the best available for each of our products, so we make each and every item upon order, and with extensive knowledge, love, and top-quality supplies.
Because each of our items individually handcrafted, there may be subtle differences between them. Please see these differences as a mark of love and individuality given to each item.
Also with our business being a true Eco-Artisan business, we work on Mother Nature’s schedule and source supplies from other artisans, who bring a skill level to their trade that can’t be found elsewhere; implicating times where we can be impacted by seasonal growth, illness, harvest, and/or other cultural downtime.
We try to be conscious of these occurrences and alert those who are in "the need to know status" ASAP. We ask for your patience during these times.
