Lanolin is produced by sheep and acts as a breathable waterproof barrier on their wool. It closely resembles human sebum, making it easily absorbed by the skin for deep hydration. It restores elasticity and softness, leaving skin feeling supple and revitalized. Lanolin heals the skin so well its uses can be traced through generations; from softening scars to comforting nursing mothers to healing chronically dry skin, eczema, burns, scrapes, and many other skin conditions. Also, a thin layer applied to facial cheeks protects skin against cold and harsh winter weather conditions. (A dab with do use)
